CONS
A bit of a compromise.

VERDICT
If you are sensitive to caffeine or stimulants in general then Lean-XT could be a good choice.

Lean XT Review

Lean XT is a fat-burning diet pill brought to market by Jacked Factory.

The company appears to be based in Canada but it manufactures its products in a cGMP certified facility in the USA.

Apart from supplements designed to speed fat loss, Jacked factory also offers a range of protein powders and supplements aimed at bodybuilders and other active sports enthusiasts.

Two things stand out about this product right from the start:

  1. It’s a stimulant-free fat-burner
  2. It’s suitable for vegetarians

With this type of product, it’s the fat-burning capability that counts.

The fact that the product is free from stimulants and vegetarian-friendly could make it an attractive product to people who are looking for supplements of this type.

The other thing to know is, Lean-XT is designed to support fat burning without loss of muscle mass.

That’s good too and will, no doubt, get it extra kudos from the bodybuilding crowd.

What Does Lean XT Do?

According to the Jacked Factory website, Lean-XT offers several benefits.

  • Appetite suppression
  • Calorie burning
  • Weight-loss support
  • Inhibits fat storage
  • Protects existing muscle mass

The company also claims its product is “the best non stimulant fat-burner“, but there are plenty of other manufacturers making the same claim.

After having read the list of ingredients, I can tell you there are none present that will inhibit fat storage.

You can take that claim with a hefty dose of salt. The claim is just a marketing ploy.

Although it does not state it on the label, the Lean XT sales page states Lean XT is keto-friendly too.

Again, we are looking at a marketing ploy.

Lean XT does not contain any carb-blockers or other ingredients that would support the keto-friendly claim.

How Does Lean XT Work?

I’m going to forget the more ridiculous claims and concentrate on the ones that make sense.

This product has three things going for it, in theory anyway.

First of all, it aims to control appetite.

Secondly, it supports improvements in fat burning. Finally, it aims to protect your existing muscle mass.

To be honest, the claim of appetite suppression is a long stretch.

One of the ingredients (Acetyl-L-Carnitine) may have this ability but it’s not a power ingredient. When it comes to alleviating hunger, glucomannan or nopal do a much better job.

However, if you are trying to eat less, any help controlling hunger will be much appreciated.

Fat burners work by increasing metabolism and/or thermogenesis. This causes you to burn extra calories throughout the day, but you need a low-calorie diet or they do not work.

When your calorie intake is low, your body is starved of energy.

That encourages it to start burning fat. In reality, it often burns a little muscle along with the fat.

If a fat burner can prevent this it’s a good thing. Especially if you are a bodybuilder or athlete of some other kind.

Lean XT Usage Guidelines

The normal dose is one to two capsules, taken once or twice per day and always with food.

However, new users are advised to begin with just one capsule per day for the first three days. If there are no side effects you can begin taking the full dose on day four.

Jacked factory also points out the need for diet and exercise.

That’s good. Too many manufacturers offer the promise of a magic pill. It’s nice to see this one does not.

The company also suggests drinking plenty of water to aid hydration and promote good health. There’s nothing wrong with that either. It too makes good sense.

However, customers are encouraged to consider using Lean-XT alongside Burn-XT and/or Lean PM. That casts doubt on the potency of the product and makes me question its power.

Lean-XT Ingredients

Two capsules provide the following three ingredients in the following quantities:

  • Acetyl-L-Carnitine (750 mg)
  • Green Tea (500 mg)
  • Coleus Forskohlii Extract (150 mg)
  • Bioperine (5 mg)

The Potential Benefits the Ingredients May Provide

Acetyl-L-Carnitine

Acetyl-L-Carnitine is an amino acid. It’s often included in sports supplements because it speeds up post-exercise recovery rates and enhances performance.

The results of a study conducted in China support using Acetyl-L-Carnitine for reducing fatigue and hunger but, as already stated, when it comes to hunger suppression other alternatives offer a lot more.

Green Tea

Green tea supports fat loss by increasing metabolism and thermogenesis. Its abilities are proven and green tea is also one of the most popular natural fat burners in the world.

Green Tea Fat Burning

There’s an abundance of clinical data to support using green tea extracts for fat loss. One study is particularly notable because it shows green tea is a fat burner that’s good for your heart.

Coleus Forskohlii Extract

Coleus Forskohlii extract comes from the roots of the coleus forskohlii plant. The extract provides forskolin and the version Jacked Factory is using appears to be reasonably potent.

The 150 mg provided by each (2-capsule) dose provides 30 mg of forskolin. That’s a decent amount.

You’re more likely to find this ingredient in sports supplements because it allegedly helps you burn fat without losing muscle.

Some studies confirm this. Unfortunately, other studies suggest it offers no help at all.

Bioperine

If you’ve spent much time looking at supplement labels, you may have seen this ingredient before. Bioperine is a brand of black pepper extract that turns up in a great many supplement formulations.

Piperine used in supplements for absorption

Black pepper provides piperine. It’s an alkaloid that helps your body to absorb other supplement ingredients.

Bioperine is more popular than standard black pepper extracts because it’s standardized to provide a consistently high potency.

Does Lean XT Cause Side Effects

Although reports of side effects are rare some people say using Lean XT made them unwell.

A few of the mild side effects people report include increased appetite, bloating, and intestinal gas.

Several customers also complain the product set their heart racing unusually fast.

This is likely to be due to the presence of coleus forskohlii. Trusted sources state it can cause this type of side effect.

If you are thinking of using this product, I suggest you play it safe and refrain from doing so without first obtaining a doctor’s advice.

Where to Buy Lean XT

Jacked Factory distributes its products via its website and through Amazon.com. It only ships to addresses located within Canada and the USA.

How Much Does Lean XT Cost?

At the time of this review, Lean-XT had a price tag of around USD 25 per bottle. There was only a few cents difference between the Amazon price and the one on the Jacked Factory website.

Guarantee

Lean-XT has a 90-day money-back guarantee but there’s a catch. It only works for people who have not previously bought any other Jacked Factory products.

So, if you’ve bought a protein powder and loved it and then buy Lean XT and hate it, there’s no getting your money back.

However, if you are new to the company’s products and buy Lean XT and hate it, your refund should be good to go. Crazy? I’ll let you decide.

Lean XT Summary – Should I Buy it?

If you are already losing weight through diet and exercise, this product could help you to speed up your results. It has green tea in it, so there should be no way it can fail.

Forget about fat blocking or help with your keto diet.

That’s not going to happen but the formulation may boost your energy levels.

It’s possible it may protect you from muscle loss too but see it a bonus if it happens.

Acetyl-L-Carnitine is the only ingredient that may do it and the conflicting research results suggest you may need to keep your fingers crossed.

Will it help with hunger?

Many customers claim that it does, but some customers say it increases hunger. All you can do is try it and hope for the best.

One of the things this product initially appears to have going for it is the price. It’s cheap.

However, the fact that it’s permissible to double the dose suggests a possible lack of power.

As does the way Jacked Factory encourages its customers to use Lean XT alongside other products.

If you take double the dose, it will double the usage costs. Combine it with other products and the price will shoot up higher still.

You may be better off going for an alternative product that’s got better credentials and is capable of going it alone. I hope you have enjoyed this Lean XT review.
