LeanFire Ultimate can help double your weight loss, give you impressive definition and provide ultimate focus and concentration.
That’s what Force Factor, the international sports supplement company, tells us all can happen when you use LeanFire Ultimate.
Primarily it’s a fat burner, with a few common, and some not-as-common, ingredients included in the formula.
They also plug the focus and concentration benefit, often the positive side effects of the same thermogenic, central nervous system stimulants that promote weight loss.
So, does Force Factor have a good recipe? Good enough to justify the fairly high price-tag?
I’ll take you through it, and we’ll see.
Force Factor LeanFire Ultimate – What Does it Do?
As I said in the intro, Leanfire Ultimate fits into the common category of thermogenic fat-burner with a cognitive boost.
It’s got two blends within the formula, and both are open label, meaning you know exactly what, and how much, you are taking.
That’s great news straight away, because all to often – especially with fat-burners – you see these proprietary blends of ingredients that are sold as “secret sauce” that are usually just hiding the product’s weakness.
Force Factor themselves do this with some of their supplements, even those within the same LeanFire line (LeanFire XT comes to mind).
Not so with Ultimate though, it’s all there to see, contained within the:
- Thermovigilance 2x Weight Loss Complex
- Adaptogenic Cognitive Enhancement System
Thermovigilance is a trademarked name, and such names are usually reserved for the proprietary blends. But again, all the inclusion rates are shown here.
What’s This Double (2x) Weight Loss About?
I mentioned this in the first sentence. Force Factor like to say LeanFire Ultimate can trigger double your weight loss. And it’s implied again with “Thermovigilance 2x Weight Loss Complex”.
So, what are they talking about?
They’re referring to a study/studies on one of the ingredients: green coffee. Here’s one such study.
Green coffee has some pretty compelling evidence supporting weight loss claims. Unfortunately, much of the evidence comes from scientific studies that have been funded by supplement manufacturers.
This is a bit of a problem throughout the business as a whole but it’s also a catch-22 for the companies themselves.
With scientific studies, if no-one comes up with the cash to fund them, the study won’t happen. The companies have the means to get the studies done, but they also benefit greatly from them if the research ties their ingredient to a positive result.
Sadly, some studies are poorly designed, or perhaps expertly designed (depending on how you view it) to exert bias on the results.
Green Coffee extract appears to have some beneficial effects on weight loss but the results from studies completed so far can be assumed to be a little exaggerated.
Ingredients – What Is In LeanFire Ultimate?
Each serving is 2 capsules of LeanFire Ultimate, but the maximum daily amount is one complete serving (2 caps) before your first meal, plus an additional half serving (1 cap) before your second meal.
If you take the maximum then there is 20 days worth of pills per bottle. Otherwise there is 30 servings of 2 caps.
Thermovigilance ™ 2x Weight Loss Complex – 955 mg
- 400 mg – Green Coffee Bean Extract (Verilean ®)
- 250 mg – Caffeine Anhydrous
- 250 mg – L-Theanine
- 50 mg – Cayenne Fruit Extract (Capsimax ®)
- 5 mg – Black Pepper Fruit Extract (BioPerine ®)
Adaptogenic Cognitive Enhancement System – 403 mg
- 300 mg – Rhodiola Rosea
- 50 mg – Cocoa Seed Extract (Cocoabuterol ®)
- 50 mg – Theacrine (TeaCrine ®)
- 3 mg – Rauwolfia vomitoria Extract
Green Coffee bean extract might be able to trigger weight loss but the exact mechanism hasn’t been nailed down yet. It may or may not be due to the blood sugar reducing effect of chlorogenic acid.
The effect size seems too large at the moment, possibly because of industry-backed research bias, so we need some completely objective scientists to tackle green coffee.
Caffeine and L-Theanine in equal measure is an excellent combination with a lot of synergy. Theanine improves the cognitive effect of caffeine while reducing the jitters and crash. Theanine also independently improves calmness without sedation.
Caffeine and Cayenne are solid fat burning agents and Black Pepper is in the blend to increase overall absorption.
Rhodiola Rosea is the adaptogen in the “Adaptogenic Cognitive Enhancement System”. When taken before an acute stressor like intense exercise it can reduce the stress and help you perform better. It’s also a good mood enhancer when you’re on calorie restriction.
Cocoa and Theacrine help cerebral blood flow, blood flow in general, promote relaxation and reduce grogginess. Cocoa might also be one of the best antioxidants in existence because it doesn’t appear to negatively affect endogenous antioxidant enzyme acitivity.
Rauwolfia vomitoria is added for the rauwolscine content. It’s a lot like yohimbine – a popular fat loss, mood improving stimulant – but it might be safer and even more effective for the latter.
What’s The Verdict?
Fat burners/weight loss pills from sports/bodybuilding supplement companies are usually complete tripe, if I’m being honest.
Force Factor LeanFire Ultimate is not one of them. It contains solid ingredients and even some fancy ones, all at decent dosages.
They’ve taken the time to research the inclusions properly and combine those which have synergistic/additive effects.
The only significant downside is the cost. It ain’t cheap, and that’s going to be a dealbreaker for a lot of people.
When you’ve got a protein, pre-workout and a fat burner to buy every month, the cost gets inhibitive.
However, if you are going to spend the money anyway, LeanFire Ultimate is a good product to do it on.
